Drexel and Bentley University Reps Connect with Romanian Students in Bucharest

This past week the EducationUSA-affiliated Fulbright Educational Advising Center received visits from representatives of two U.S. schools, namely, Christie Ruggieri, Associate Director, Undergraduate Admissions, Drexel University, and Karen Karidoyanes, Director of International Admission, Bentley University.
The FEAC-EducationUSA team was happy to meet with them and assist them in their outreach efforts.
On September 24, we accompanied Christie to two top high schools in Bucharest – “George Coşbuc” National Bilingual College and “I. L. Caragiale” National College -, where an average 120 students gathered to meet our guest. Christie delivered engaging presentations on the Drexel community and the path to studying at this prestigious U.S. school, also providing useful tips for zooming in on “good fit” schools.
On September 27, respectively, we accompanied Karen on a visit to “Laude-Reut” Educational Complex, where she had a chance to connect with highly-motivated 10th and 11th graders and introduce them to Bentley’s business-centered curriculum.
We took the opportunity to tell participants a few words about the resources awaiting them at FEAC-EducationUSA and ways we can help them in preparing strong applications to undergraduate programs in the U.S.
