Call for Papers: Appalachian/Carpathian International Conference

The 2019 Appalachian/Carpathian International Conference entitled “Making Place: Transitional and Post-Industrial Development in Mountain Communities” will take place in Brașov and Petroșani, October 7-11, 2019. The conference is being supported by the Transylvania University of Brașov, the Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission, the University of Kentucky Appalachian Center and Appalachian Studies Program, Radford University, and distinguished Appalachian Studies scholars from the U.S.A.
