Fulbright ETA Courtney-Sophia Henry at the American Corner in Bucharest

Fulbright ETA Courtney-Sophia Henry spoke with high school students and teachers at the American Corner in Bucharest. The topic was the traditional teachings and spirituality of the Ojibwe/Anishinaabe/Chippewa, an indigenous tribe located in North America, of which Ms.Henry is a direct descendant. The talk also explored the history of Native American people in the United States, as well as contemporary practices and issues affecting tribes. Participants had many questions and an enthusiastic discussion followed the talk.
