On Thursday, March 23, the FEAC advising team took part in the final leg of the spring edition of RIUF (Romanian International University Fair). Dozens of visitors inquired about study options in the U.S., including many 9th graders but also graduating seniors. They received counseling with regard to the independent application process and the Fulbright program and were warmly encouraged to use our online advising services via Skype calls or regularly scheduled webinars. The Transilvania University of Brasov hosted our presentation about the Fulbright Student Award and independent graduate applications, thus continuing a long tradition of cooperation between the Office for International Relations and the Fulbright Commission. This year most attendees voiced an interest in graduate programs in STEM fields and business administration, while prospective undergraduate applicants indicated a growing interest in social sciences and humanities.
