Dr. Vasile Rotaru will launch his book titled “Between Integration and Intervention. Russia and the European ‘Near Abroad’ after 2009” on Thursday, March 2nd, at the “Carol I” Central University Library. On this occasion, several celebrated professors from the University of Bucharest and the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration/SNSPA  (Dr. Rotaru’s home university) will join for a dialogue on the topic proposed by the book, together with the author.  Dr. Vasile Rotaru was the recipient of a Fulbright (Senior) Visiting Scholar Award in International Relations at Georgetown University, back in 2015. As he says, he wouldn’t have been able to complete this book without a Senior Fulbright grant which allowed him to conduct specific research in the field. We would like to congratulate Dr. Rotaru for his book and wish him the best of luck in his academic career!
