Alexandru Nicolae, current  Fulbright Scholar in the field of Linguistics/Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his wife Dr. Adina Dragomirescu have let us know about their recent meeting with professor Noam Chomsky, the father of modern linguistics: “Meeting Prof. Chomsky was one of the greatest accomplishments of our life. Professor Chomsky is extremely active and curious about the work of younger researchers like us: we had the great chance to discuss linguistics with Chomsky and to have the opportunity to get feedback from him. We also seized the opportunity and invited him to Bucharest, where a large group of his followers and admirers are anxious to meet him and listen to him.
