Final Meeting of the 2018-2019 U.S. Fulbright Grantees

The Final Meeting of the Year for the American Fulbright grantees present in Romania in 2018-2019 was hosted by The Multicultural Center of Transilvania University of Brașov, on June 10 and 11.

The U.S. Fulbright Scholars, Student Researchers and ETAs, as well as their accompanying dependents, traveled to Brașov from Bucharest, Cluj, Craiova, Timișoara, Iași, Sibiu, Constanța, Arad, and Galați. They presented their teaching and research activities, as well as an outstanding number of events in which they participated, such as attending conferences, writing of articles and volunteering work. All in all, an absolutely impressive amount of good work and added experience for the U.S. participants in the program and invaluable benefits for their Romanian colleagues, students, and friends.

On the second day of the meeting, the group visited the Libearty Bear Sanctuary in Zărnești.
