Five Trends to Watch in Journalism

Professor Linda Austin, Project co-director, Associated Press Media Editors' NewsTrain, recently visited Romania as a Fulbright Specialist. Linda was a keynote speaker – on five trends to watch in journalism – at Media Culture Days, the International Media Conference organized at the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca and delivered presentations on social media in journalism. She was interviewed twice: on the student online radio station and on the local FM radio station, EBSRadio.ro. In both her discussions with students and Romanian colleagues and the radio interviews, Linda promoted the Fulbright Program to scholars and students and the Humphrey Program for mid-career professionals.
