Mohsen Razzaghi, a professor from Mississippi State University, had two Fulbright Awards to Romania during academic years 2011-2012 and 2015-2016. Since he left Romania in 2016, he initiated and has created a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Mississippi State University (MSU) and the Politehnica University of Timisoara (PUT) and the University of Bucharest. In addition, PUT applied for an Erasmus+ between their university and MSU, and it has been approved. Furthermore, a joint conference entitled 1st International Conference on Computational Methods and Applications in Engineering was organized by Mississippi State University and Politehnica University of Timisoara, and was held during May 23-26, 2018, in Timisoara. The objectives of this conference were to enhance interdisciplinary international work between scientists and engineers in the USA and Romania.
