Fulbright ETA Sarah D’Antoni visited "Lucian Blaga" University of Sibiu to run a workshop on Professional Development with fellow ETA Matthew Chernick. During the events, Sarah walked undergraduate and graduate students from the Faculty of Letters and Arts through the basics of how to network effectively, write professional email correspondence, and develop resumes for job searches and applications. The workshop was highly interactive, involving active student participation and was well received by the attendees. Also, during her visit, Sarah met with Vice-Dean Eva-Nicoleta Burdusel and Department Head Professor Ovidiu Matiu to discuss various aspects of educational cooperation and exchange within Romania and with the United States. This is a second in a series of “Fulbright Workshops” to prepare students at ULBS for their futures after university, as well as a part of the Commission’s initiative to have U.S. Fulbright grantees meet Romanian students and academic staff outside their host institutions.
