Fulbright scholar Andreea Voina attended the 8th edition of the Women in the World Summit, held in New York (April 5th - 7th), the world's largest conference with and for women. The event marked Hillary Clinton's first interview after the November elections, and world leaders like Justin Trudeau and Nicola Sturgeon pitched their ideas about bringing more women into politics. One main takeaway from this event is something Youtube's CEO, Susan Wojcicki, shared, that "power is transferred by those who have it," which should make us more aware of our potential as change-makers, to empower ourselves and others.
