Fulbright Presentations for Graduate Studies Hosted by Bucharest Universities

Our series of presentations in Bucharest designed for the Romanian students interested in applying for graduate programs in the U.S., with a focus on the 2018-2019 Fulbright Student Award competition, started on March 16 with an event hosted by The Center for American Studies, Bucharest University of Economic Studies. The following day, another Fulbright presentation took place at the University of Bucharest. The participants received information on the path to studying in the U.S., either through applying for a Fulbright Student Award or through independently approaching U.S. universities. They also found out more about the Fulbright Commission’s activities, such as informative gatherings, online seminars and workshops, as well as about the resources available at our advising center FEAC-EducationUSA.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mariana Nicolae, Professor ASE and Fulbright Ambassador, Marian Preda, Professor and President of the University of Bucharest Senate, and Ioana Stamatescu, Fulbright Alumna and Assistant Professor ASE, who lent us their kind support for these presentations, helping us with promoting and organizing the presentations.
