Our joint International Study Day (ISD) tour made one last stop this year in Buzău, at one of the most prestigious schools in town, “B.P. Haşdeu” National College. We were happy to join forces, yet again, with our colleagues from the British Council and DAAD, as well as with CampusFrance, one of the original founders of the project.
Our presentations drew an audience of about 150 students, mainly 10th and 11th graders, keen to learn more about study opportunities in the U.S., as well as Europe, and the path to studying there. For our part, we provided them with information on the American education system, the application process and financial aid, encouraging them to get in touch with the Fulbright Educational Advising Center and take advantages of all our free resources and services.
The International Study Day project consists of a series of outreach presentations jointly organized by the British Council, DAAD, the Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission/FEAC-EducationUSA and CampusFrance in various cities throughout the country, targeting the underserved student population.
