The Fulbright-EducationUSA Advising Center and the Information Resource Center at the US Embassy were pleased to co-organize a digital videoconference held by James Quill, Assistant Director of Admissions at Wabash College. On November 21st, Mr. Quill talked to students at American Corner Iasi about the structure and value of a liberal arts degree and about study opportunities at Wabash College, in particular. The questions from the audience centered on the flexible options offered by a typical American institution of higher education and the benefits of studying abroad. Ending on a hopeful note, the EducationUSA adviser encouraged the students to apply to the Opportunity Funds program financed by the EducationUSA network and aiming to support financially disadvantaged students in the application process.
