At University of Galati, we promoted the first ever lecture hosted in conjunction with the Faculty of Letters and History/Philosophy Faculty. The first seminar in the "Fulbright Lecture Series" was hosted to discuss the U.S. Election and its effect on international affairs.

The series is open to the public to encourage critical thinking and engagement about current affairs. Silviu Lupascu, a Fulbrighter who studied at Yale University in the past, is featured in the photos and we hope to expand it to include more Fulbright guest lecturers in the future. More than 75 people attended the two hour seminar with students from the following faculties: Journalism, History/Philosophy, English, Economics. More than 10 professors from the University of Galati attended as well.
