FEAC-EducationUSA Team Connects with High Schoolers in Iaşi and Timişoara

As is already tradition, during our stops in Iaşi and Timişoara, the FEAC-EducationUSA team delivered presentations aimed at high schoolers interested in U.S. study opportunities, kindly hosted by the American Corners in these two cities. Students from some of the finest high schools in Iaşi and Timişoara were provided with useful information on the American education system and how to best approach the application process, and encouraged to keep in touch with the FEAC-EducationUSA team via online advising. We also took this opportunity to announce the launch of the competition for the
2017 Opportunity Funds program, designed to help exceptional students from underprivileged backgrounds cover application-related costs.

Fulbright-EducationUSA friend Eliza Chirilă, National Director of the American Councils for International Education local office, also joined us for the presentation at the American Corner in Timişoara, providing high schoolers and teachers with information on the FLEX program, which enables top Romanian high school students to study one year in the U.S., with all costs covered.
