MBA Students from Indiana University Visit Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission

On Tuesday, May 17, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm, a group of U.S. and international students from Indiana University paid us a visit to tell us more about their school and share their personal experience with the Fulbright Commission staff and prospective applicants to U.S. universities.
The students are currently in Romania as part of the international internship program Indiana University (Kelley School of Business) offers, in partnership with the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. This year’s cohort has been coordinated by Professor Cătălin Albu, Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems, Fulbright Senior Alumnus.

They were happy to provide us with more in-depth information on the 3/2 accelerated MBA program they are enrolled in, while sharing their personal stories and useful tips on the application process and student life in the U.S. They were happy to learn, in turn, about the Fulbright program and the types of educational exchanges it facilitates.
The meeting concluded with an informal Q&A session, in which our guests took questions ranging from admission requirements for international applicants to their experience in Romania and any cultural differences that might have struck them.
