Fulbright Visiting Researcher Community Day in Boston

On February 5th, the Fulbright Visiting researchers Andreea Iancu and Alexandra Maria Bocse participated in the Visiting Researcher Community Day in Boston, Massachusetts. The event, organized by the Institute of International Education and LASPAU (Academic and Professional Programs for the Americas), took place at Harvard University. It was an excellent opportunity for all the Fulbright Visiting Researchers in and around Boston, Fulbright alumni and international scholars to meet, exchange ideas and volunteer for the community service at the Cambridge Community Center.

Andreea Iancu is a current Fulbright Junior Visiting researcher affiliated with the University of Massachusetts Boston as well as a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi.

Alexandra Maria Bocse is the recipient of the 2015-2016 Fulbright Schuman Award, a grant program administered by the Belgian Fulbright Commission. A Ph.D. candidate at Cambridge University, UK, Alexandra is now representing Romania as a Fulbright Schuman researcher at Harvard University, U.S.
