News from Andreea Cosma, SUSI Fellow at Indiana University

Andreea Cosma has recently returned from the U.S., where she participated in the ”Study of the U.S. Institute for European Student Leaders – Social Entrepreneurship” (SUSI) program, a five-week academic scholarship for young people pursuing post-secondary education. The SUSI fellows were hosted by Indiana University in Bloomington and had the opportunity to examine social entrepreneurship in the United States, including the development, history, challenges, and successes of U.S. social enterprises. The program was interactive and experiential, combining classroom instruction with panel discussions, business visits, and volunteer opportunities.

”Being part of the SUSI program made me realize how lucky I am. Lucky for being taught by skillful professors, for meeting inspiring people, for making life-long friendships and of course, for having a true American experience. Thanks to the program, I came back home with amazing memories, with an idea for a change and the skills and knowledge to make it happen.” – Andreea Cosma
