“Transilvania” University of Braşov Students Visit Fulbright Commission & FEAC-EducationUSA

On Tuesday, April 28, 40 students from the American Studies department at the “Transilvania” University of Braşov visited the Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission, accompanied by two of their professors. The visit was part of a POSDRU project currently run by the “Transilvania” University of Braşov, meant to assist students in exploring career paths and professional development opportunities.
Following a warm welcome address by the Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission Executive Director, Rodica Mihăilă, our guests were treated to a presentation delivered by the Fulbright-EducationUSA team, touching on graduate study opportunities in the U.S., independently or through a Fulbright Student Award. They also had a chance to ask questions concerning the American education system and the path to studying in the U.S. at a graduate level.
The visit also afforded them an opportunity to acquaint themselves with the generous resources awaiting them at the Fulbright Educational Advising Center-EducationUSA. Many of our visitors voiced an interest in the events and webinars organized by the Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission and FEAC-EducationUSA, specially designed to help them prepare strong applications for the Fulbright Student Award and graduate study programs in the U.S.
