U.S. Graduate Study Presentations in Bucharest Universities – Spring Edition 2015

On March 23 the Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission and the Fulbright Educational Advising Center-EducationUSA team began a series of presentations dedicated to students and young researchers from four major universities in the capital city: the University of Bucharest (March 23), Bucharest University of Economics (March 24), Politehnica University of Bucharest (March 24) and the National School of Political Science and Public Administration (March 26).

The marathon ended on Monday 30 with a presentation delivered to students in the field of Humanities from the “Dimitrie Cantemir” University. The participants learned about the Fulbright Student Award application requirements and had the chance to ask specific questions about the current grant competition, which will be open until May 11.The audience also received practical information concerning independent applications to graduate study programs in the U.S. and found out more about researching appropriate programs, selecting fields of study, preparing

the application and exploring funding opportunities. Last but not least, the presentation acquainted the public with the activities and resources offered by FEAC-EducationUSA to graduates and undergraduates wishing to study or conduct research in U.S. universities. We would like to thank Ms. Carmen Batatorescu (UB) as well as Professors Marius Profiroiu (ASE), Mihaela Albu and Nicoleta Corbu (SNSPA), Fulbright Senior Alumni, who gave us their full support in organizing these events.
