Professor Mohsen Razzaghi,  Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Mississippi State University and a Fulbright grantee to Romania in 2011-2012 was an invited speaker for "The TIM Physics Conference" on 20-22, November 2014 in Timisoara.

On this occasion, Dr. Razzaghi met several Romanian colleagues from Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest and from National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering, discussing projects for the continuation of research work starting during the Fulbright grant in Romania. It was not the only purpose of the visit to Romania and let us quote Professor Razzaghi: “While in Timisoara, Dr. Constantin Bota from Department of Mathematics at Politechnica University of Timisoara asked me to join a group of scientists to put together, the foundations of a Romanian-American Center of Applied Sciences, in Timisoara. The main purpose of this Centre is to allow research collaborations between our Universities as well as other Universities, participation in research grants, organization of Conferences, etc.”
