Halloween at the Fulbright Haunted House
Halloween at the Fulbright Haunted House

On Friday, October 31, the Fulbright Educational Advising Center hosted its first Halloween party, in parternship with our friends from the American Studies Program at the University of Bucharest. Some 40+ “familiars” were bold enough to walk into our house of horrors and join in our spooky Costume Competition. Following a transparent and democratic voting procedure, our Fulbright ETA, Jamie Beth Weaver, emerged the winner for her original portrayal of The Raven, closely followed by “Charlie Chaplin”, while honorable mentions went to “The Bloody Nun”, “Hawkeye/ Robin Hood” and “The Russian Mobster”. The proceedings also included a pumpkin carving competition and bobbing for apples.
We would like to thank our friends and colleagues from the American Studies program, as well as our lovely and lively team of high school interns, for their priceless assistance and for enthusiastically joining in the proceedings.
