One more seminar for the Romanian applicants to the current competition for visiting scholars took place at Fulbright Commission location on Friday October 31 and focused on two main topics: the project statement and preparing for the interview stage. Our guest-speakers, Drs. Steven Cutler and Anamaria Szabo - both Senior Fulbrighters, invited the participants to explore the most important qualitative components of the application and provided suggestions and guidelines concerning the Fulbright interview stage in January. The success of the event was guaranteed by the informal interactive approach chosen by the two speakers who illustrated the proposed topics using specific examples from their personal experience as applicants, grantees or panelists.
