Romanian Humphrey Fellow Vlad Mixich, affiliated with Emory University, organized a field visit on quality improvement in healthcare for six key Romanian healthcare executives and opinion leaders. The group visited five hospitals in Atlanta and had meetings with twenty-four medical doctors, nurses, and engineers who work in patient safety and healthcare quality improvement.
