Fulbright Visiting Scholar Enrichment Seminar on “American Security: Economic and Food Solutions”

Group PhotoPaula A.Tufis, Sorin Constantin and Andreea Nita participated to the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Enrichment Seminar on “American Security: Economic and Food Solutions”, where they explored aspects of the U.S. society and culture. During the seminar, they engaged with local organizations, residents of Minneapolis, and Fulbrighters from around the world. Hosted by Global Minnesota, this Fulbright Enrichment Seminar provided a multifaceted overview of economic challenges that the United States faces in the 21st century. During their time in Minneapolis (24-27th of April 2019), they attended plenary sessions, panel discussions, site visits, and roundtable meetings. They also engaged with experts from across Minnesota to broaden their exposure to new ideas, strategies, and policies that impact American security and explored how development policies impact citizens’ lives.
Overall, Paula A. Tufis, Sorin Constantin and Andreea Nita shared ideas and collaborated with other Fulbright faculty and researchers, forging connections and friendships. They had the pleasure to meet with U.S Fulbright alumni and local supporters of the Fulbright’s mission to increase mutual understanding between activities that expanded their knowledge.
