Using Entrepreneurship to Address Social Problems

On February 21st, from 4 p.m., Dr. Roger E. Hamlin, Professor Emeritus at Michigan State University and a Fulbright Scholar at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, will give a lecture titled “Using Entrepreneurship to Address Social Problems: Theory and Stories from Around the Globe” at the Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, University of Bucharest (Council Room, 9 Schitu Măgureanu). “While entrepreneurs struggle during this precarious phase of implementation it seems a difficult time to involve the community. Yet, it is often the best time to experience the 2-way benefits of community support and engagement.”
