U.S. Fulbright Scholar Monica Cure, soon to release her new volume, Picturing the Postcard: A New Media Crisis at the Turn of the Century, made a presentation of the book at the Faculty of Television and Theater of Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj on December 10.

During the presentation, Monica argued that “new media” is as much a discursive object as a material one, and that it is always in dialogue with the media that came before it.
